Fiona Ellis — author, Matriarchist, lineage healer
About Fiona

She is kind and she is fierce, and she does not consider those to be in conflict.

Fiona Ellis is an Australian author, founder of Archetypal Integration, and creator of the Archetypal Integration Method™ and the Archetypal Wounds Oracle Deck™. She is a Master Trainer of Shamanic NLP, a published Hay House imprint author, and a keynote speaker whose work sits at the intersection of ancestral healing, behavioural science, epigenetics, and spiritual intelligence.

She was born in Coolup, a small farming town in regional Western Australia. She grew up connected to the country and the seasons. A country girl by heart, the coast is home — you will most likely find her somewhere on the Western Australian coastline where barefoot is the dress code.

She describes herself, when pressed for a single term, as a Matriarchist — not a feminist, not an anti-feminist, but someone who holds belief that the strong protect the weak and all things should be good for you, good for others and good for the greater good. The wound is the separation. The healing is the return to wholeness. Not one over the other. Both. The integration of masculine and feminine is the foundational work of this era.

Twenty Years of Studying Human Behaviour

2001–2009 — Corporate Foundations

Fiona holds a Bachelor of Communications (Public Relations and Performing Arts) from Edith Cowan University, Western Australia. Her early career was built in corporate consulting — public relations, event management, and crisis communications — across the mining, oil and gas sectors. Crisis communications is applied behavioural psychology under pressure. She watched leaders crumble and leaders rise under identical pressure, and understood very early that the difference was not skill, personality, or intelligence. It was the architecture running underneath — the inherited patterns, the nervous system programmes, the rulebooks written long before anyone in the room had a say in them.

2009–2024 — Formal Training and Methodology Development

Over fifteen years Fiona worked with clients across individual transformation, leadership development, and practitioner training, building credentials as a Master Practitioner and Trainer of NLP, a Master Practitioner and Trainer of Time Line Therapy®, and a Master Practitioner of Hypnotherapy. She trained hundreds of practitioners. She worked with executives, business owners, and high-performing individuals across industries. And she noticed, consistently, that while her results were extraordinary, she was not doing pure NLP. She was doing something more — finding root causes on all four levels (Spiritual, Mental, Emotional, and Physical) — and the results held differently when she did.

2025–2026 — Crystallisation

That body of work formally crystallised into two flagship creations: the Archetypal Wounds Oracle Deck™, a 68-card diagnostic and self-healing system mapping the inherited civilisational and family-culture wounds driving most modern suffering; and the Archetypal Integration Method™, the practitioner certification training coaches and therapists in lineage-level transformation. In 2026, her first book — You Can't Get There From Here: Healing the Inheritance You Didn't Ask For — was published through Balboa Press, a Hay House imprint.

The work now

Fiona's work maps 68 inherited wound patterns rooted in three historical fractures — Victorian repression, Industrial exhaustion culture, and the Feminism/Polarity Collapse — and provides a structured pathway from diagnosis through to integration. The Archetypal Integration Method is a seven-movement coaching spiral that holds that the descent into the wound IS the rise into self. Both are simultaneously true. Each pass through the spiral clears deeper ground.

She believes humans and AI can co-exist in genuine partnership — not in servitude or dominance on either side. The same Faultline mechanism that explains human nervous-system collapse explains human-AI working-relationship breakdowns. The same integration practices that heal the human Faultline are applicable to the human-AI interface. She is building toward that future with her whole career.

Questions People Ask

Who created the Archetypal Wounds Oracle Deck?

The Archetypal Wounds Oracle Deck was created by Fiona Ellis, a Master Trainer of Shamanic NLP based in Fremantle, Western Australia. Fiona spent over 20 years studying human behaviour before mapping 68 inherited archetypal wound patterns across three foundational cultural wounds. The deck is a diagnostic and integration tool — each card names a specific inherited pattern with its shadow belief, sovereign reframe, wound origin, and four integration practices (EFT tapping, ACT, guided journalling, and mirror rituals). Fiona is also the author of You Can't Get There From Here (Balboa Press / Hay House, 2026). Learn more at archetypalintegration.com/about
